Samiksha Kattera is a Relevant Legal Trainee at Luo Ling Ling LLC. She holds an LLB (Hons) and an LLM from Durham University.

Prior to joining Luo Ling Ling LLC, Samiksha worked as a Trainee Tax Consultant at KPMG LLP in London and gained legal experience at law firms across Singapore, the United Kingdom and India, including Dechert LLP, Dentons Rodyk, Taylor Wessing (now Winston Taylor) and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. She has also gained experience in the development of an arbitration centre in Bangalore, India, including legal and regulatory research, operational planning and the use of legal technology in dispute resolution.

In her role as a Relevant Legal Trainee, she has assisted in areas of:

1. Criminal Litigation, including matters involving:

• Sexual offences;

• Drug-related offences;

• Money laundering and financial crime; and

• Other criminal offences.

2. Civil and Commercial Litigation, including matters relating to:

• Misrepresentation, breach of contract and unjust enrichment;

• Corporate and commercial disputes;

• Asset tracing and recovery; and

• Shareholder and society governance disputes.

3. Family Matters, including:

• Divorce and ancillary matters; and

• Deputyship applications.

4. Probate and Estate Matters, including:

• Administration and distribution of estates.

​

Samiksha has also assisted with legal research and drafting, preparation of court documents, case and trial preparation, and correspondence with clients and other parties.
